Stay on Budget and on Trend, While Saving Time with a One-Stop Shop
When building a new home, great emphasis is put on deciding what home builder to use, selecting the location and choosing the floor plan of your dream home. These decisions are very important, but it is nice to have a home builder and its team work with you on some of the other choices you will need to make throughout the building process – like selecting the right appliances for your new home and your family.
Demlang Builders and its trusted group of vendor partners offer the full continuum when it comes to not only building your house, but furnishing it to become your home.
For the past five years, Demlang has built a great partnership with family-owned Grand Appliance. With 19 locations across the midwest, and nine right here in Southeast Wisconsin, Grand Appliance has been helping Demlang Builder’s customers select the right appliances.
“When building your new home, appliances are one of the first items to be selected in the process, but one of the last things to go into the new home,” say Bryan Komas, Grand Appliance Store Manager. “We start with scheduling a consultation with the homeowner, reviewing their floor plan and identifying their needs and wants for their new home.”
Choosing the right washer and dryer, or picking out a new kitchen appliance package can be overwhelming, but Grand Appliance works with every homeowner to make the process enjoyable. They streamline everything so you don’t have to waste time going from store to store comparing brand to brand. Grand understands that purchasing appliances for your new home is an investment and one that you don’t want to have to make again for many years to come.
With a large variety of brands, styles and finishes in their inventory, Grand Appliance offers homeowners the advantage of their nationwide buying power and ability to compare their prices/rebates in real time to others in the market. They also work directly with Demlang to provide the correct specs needed, in order for the appliances to have the perfect fit in their new environment, so their is no guess work when it comes to what appliances the new home will include and their sizes.
Bryan and his team are currently working with Demlang Builders on their 2016 Parade of Homes model located in the Hartland Windrush Subdivision. Over the years, Grand and Demlang have seen the trends change when it comes to home building and the appliances used within the home. This year’s Parade home is definitely right on trend with what homeowners want to see in their new space – convenience, energy savings and beauty!
This year’s Parade of Homes model will feature an induction stove top that will not only heat up much faster than an electric or gas stove, but is also energy efficient and much safer. If the element is on, but no pot is on the burner, it won’t get hot and as soon as the pot is removed from the heat, the heating stops. Plus, since the induction surface stays cooler in general, clean up is easier.
The oven in our 2016 Parade of Homes model home is truly a new trend in kitchen appliances, featuring a side-swing door similar to a traditional microwave for easy access and increased safety – eliminating the need to reach over the entire oven door to place or remove something from the unit. The kitchen will also feature and a state-of-the-art dishwasher that is one of the quietest in the industry and a french-door refrigerator and 24” wine cabinet for plenty of room for food and beverages when entertaining.
One last “smart touch” is a 4.5 cubic foot washer featuring a 1 cubic foot pedestal washer and dryer that will offer programming capabilities directly from the homeowners smartphone. Just think, your “virtual assistant” actually could help with the laundry!
